President's message

Welcome to the CAPS Ottawa website. It is my pleasure to serve as the President in 2012 …
 
If you are an expert who speaks professionally, then this is the place to be – surrounded by the leaders in this industry! We are the largest and most recognized speaking association in Canada, consisting of keynote speakers, facilitators, coaches, and trainers. Our reach is world-wide as we are also a part of the Global Speakers Federation (GSF). From inspirational keynotes to practical business solutions,  organizations count on CAPS members to provide the highest value at meetings, conventions, conferences and workshops.
 
At CAPS Ottawa, we are proud to be the association of choice for experts who speak professionally based in the National Capital Region. Our membership consists of strong business-minded individuals focussed on helping their clients think differently. I am proud to see that our members are not only dedicated to developing their businesses but also supporting other members along the way.
 
2012 marks the 15th year of the CAPS Ottawa Chapter and I am personally very excited about the events on the schedule for our members and guests. We have lined up various Professional Development Seminars (PLS), Better Together Events (BTE) and fun social / networking opportunities … all to enhance our members businesses and create amazing opportunities for growth. We meet once a month from January to December, as well as special events; when they present themselves.
