If you have a few-hour layover (not long enough to go into town, but oo long to endure the hard terminal seats), see if there are airport “Day Rooms”. In Manila, a paltry $17 gets you a small (5 x room with single bed, and bathroom/shower down the hall. Great for catching a few hours of sleep and shower before your next segment.
