Canadian Speakers Hall of Fame Form

The Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame is comprised of individuals who have been recognized for their outstanding excellence as a professional speaker, and for their dedication to the professional speaking industry by educating and inspiring others to excel. Members are selected by their peers, who have previously been inducted into the hall of fame in recognition of their contributions to the speaking profession. The Hall of Fame award is presented at the CAPS National Convention when inductees to the Hall are recognized and honoured.  Selection Criteria first and foremost, excellence on the platform.

  • Longevity in the speaking business
  • Success in their business
  • A reputation for ethical conduct
  • Evidence of excellence in all dimensions of the speaking business
  • Impact on, and valuable contribution to, audiences and clients
  • Use of speaking skills and success for positive contribution to the community at large
  • Participation and contribution within CAPS and the speaking industry
  • Member in good standing of CAPS at the time of nomination

Members of CAPS are welcome to suggest fellow members for nomination consideration to the Hall of Fame.  Please note the following:

  • Self-nominations will be immediately disqualified.
  • Completed forms will be sent to a Hall of Fame designate for consideration for nomination. Completing this form does not guarantee that your suggestion will proceed with a successful nomination as only current Hall of Fame members are eligible to formally nominate candidates
  • Suggestions are to be kept confidential. You will not be contacted to confirm or deny that your suggestion has been accepted. Please also keep your suggestion confidential from others, and the candidate themselves.
